MIPEF Autumn 2025
"Create - Protect - Innovate" - certified course by the European Patent Office
How are inventions protected? How do you bring them to market and integrate intellectual property rights (IPR) into research projects and business strategies?
The European Patent Office's course “Create - Protect - Innovate: Bringing ideas to market" is available to Uni Graz students and employees free of charge and clarifies the above questions.
The course consists of two levels (beginners and advanced, each 75 hours. Corresponds to a total of 6 ECTS. Eligibility depends on the study program and must be clarified individually.) containing five self-study modules.
Each module is based on a case study and consists of videos, podcasts and interactive elements. These explain the theory behind new concepts and provide exercises and case studies to help learners consolidate their knowledge. There is also a multiple-choice quiz at the end of each module. A final assignment, assessed by intellectual property (IP) experts, is used to test the knowledge.
Upon successful completion of all modules, you will receive a certificate from the European Patent Office.
Registration open until: 16 October 2025
Course: 20 October to 31 January 2026
